Hope 1/17

The past couple of years have been challenging times as we try to make sense of what we thought were stable traditional standards for our culture. Cultural changes can impact our relationship with God if we are not well grounded in the Scriptural teaching on hope. There are many ongoing discussions filled with anger, fear, and bitterness, even among church goers. But Jesus offers an unshakeable hope that grounds our thinking and lifestyle. May we encourage each other to demonstrate hope when others have lost it. May we be examples of Christ’s love to those who are seeking hope.
