Today’s reading reminds me of a discussion this week with the Activate Glob missions team. We had a prayer call connecting by zoom to several prayer partners. Lachsman, a key leader in India, joined the call. He thanked everyone for their support in friendship. His parents had turned against him since he chose to follow Christ and has no family other than his wife. The joy and happiness he shows is amazing. He thanked everyone in the zoom call for being his family, especially Brandon, the main leader in Lincoln. His comments and sincerity brought everyone to tears.
