What is strengthening your root system as you follow Christ? For me, it’s been the daily renewing through these devotionals. During the day, I often think back to what I’ve read, strengthening a sense of meaning and purpose for the day. We don’t always see the immediate benefit of a deepening faith, or see the results, but over time, we can look back and see how our lives are far different. Another verse that teaches this:
Psalm 1:3
He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers.
