Do you ever feel alone or lonely, Nick? How do you handle those times? Growing up, I felt alone a lot, especially when my parents were not in good terms. Today’s verse was in my head and I would pray but felt little response from God. I knew He was with me but I still felt distant from Him. My Dad was also distant emotionally, and I wonder if that had a lot to do with my feelings about God. I’ve since learned that consistent vulnerable openness with Him breaks the chain of inner loneliness. He will NEVER leave and is with us all the time.
