The vale of our lives is clearly demonstrated by the price Jesus paid on the cross. How often we trivialize our own value, minimizing what Jesus, the Creator, did for us. His love for us is amazing considering our rebellion, negligence and obsession with worldly things. The greatest commandments, loving Him with our whole self, and loving others, is much easier to do when we take our eyes off the world and ourselves. The more consistent I am with praying all things with Him, the more I love Him.
