Author Paul Tripp says the four of the most important verses in the Bible are ‘in the beginning God.’ If we believe that He is the Creator of all things with His creative design and purpose, then we have meaning and purpose. He gave us the freedom to pursue excellence for His honor. The statements that jumped out at me were
“Your potential is not about being driven by ambition or success; it is about recognising who you are in God. As you seek him and live your life according to his purposes, you will bear much fruit.”
Living with this mind helps filter out the negative mindset of our culture and the fear of not succeeding or the fear of rejection. Pursuing humility, intimacy with God, deepening our roots, developing like minded relationships, purity of mind and heart, and guarding our hearts are lol part of living right with our Father.
