It is certain we each have highs and lows in life. Nicky’s comments show a lot of insight on gaining wisdom for each day. We will not always have green lights and open doors in our pursuits. We are flaws and need a Savior, along with Hos grace each day. We live in a broken world awaiting the Savior’s return, experiencing the push and pull of so many factors. We are caught between the present moments and the not yet. I like author Paul Tripp - one of his comments:
Suffering has the power to expose what you have been trusting all along. If you lose your hope when your physical body fails, maybe your hope wasn’t really in your Savior after all. It was humbling to confess that what I thought was faith was actually self-reliance
