What matters to God should matter to us. Learning to the wisdom and acquiring the values of what matters to Him take a life time. Learning to trust Him for the days ahead, demonstrating courage and compassion happen each day in ordinary situations. Learning to be humble and generous happen in small decisions that have a life time effect. If I want these qualities I need tk practice them. Reading Luke’s account of Jesus’ life shows Jesus responded to situations with great delta and meaning. He didn’t minimize any opportunity. The Old Testament shows what Gkd values among Hos people. May we strive to be the best we can be.
