If I weee invites for lunch to eat with the king of England or any world leader, I would feel so unworthy, even though excited and nervous. What would it be like to have lunch with King Jesus? I’d feel so unworthy considering my neglect of Him in my life. Yet He has made a way, costing Him the worst suffering, pain and death. What does it cost me to accept His invitation? A denial of my self importance and selfish ambitions. Just like the Hebrews, we need to avoid all lesser loyalties and be I. Full allegiance to our King.
