The death and resurrection of Jesus was a one time event that changed everything. It is the pivotal event of history, predicted in the Old Testament for centuries. Nicky’s comment struck me: “ Regret looks back. Fear looks around. Worry looks in. Faith looks up.” When in fearful, or when I’m beating myself up for what I woulda, coulda, shoulda done, I can look up in faith and grasp His love. Psalm 121 is to be burned in our minds and hearts, so we do not lose confidence in His unfailing love and pursuit of us.
