We have been fortunate to live in a culture that has not openly persecuted the Christian faith. We can be left out of certain activities and not be included at times. Perhaps it’s easier to blend in without sticking out, resulting in a watered down faith. The author of Hebrews goes to great length with being all in for Christ. Like Pippa said “ In Hebrews 10:23 it says, ‘Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.’
I have verses 22 and 23 highlighted in my Bible - I’m not sure when I did it, but our faith is the only hope we have. It cannot compared or measured to anything other standard of motivation.
