I used to think worship was on Sunday. But reading the New Testament has privet that theory wrong. The promise that God will never leave us or forsake us, no matter the circumstances, brings a quiet peace and calmness, one side of looking at true worship. God’s character never changes and He is loving and full of mercy. He is not distant and waiting for my next good up to tell me ‘I told you so!’ God’s character is purity, holiness, and love. He is full of joy at seeing His creation. He is full of power, yet full of humility by sending Jesus to die on our behalf. Our worship is deep and over whelming.
