Learning to developed an intimate relationship with our Triune God was something I wanted but I thought it was impossible. Even though He was Creator of the universe, I thought He had far bigger issues than me to attend to. But the Bible is full of stories demonstrating His willingness to be with individuals. He promises to NEVER leave us or forsake us. The apostle John was a changed man by knowing Jesus, encouraging us to do the same. Daniel’s courage and wisdom were results of a strong life of prayer. Today’s readings inspire me to have a deeper resolve to seek Him.
