The word holiness is not used very often in our culture. Many might consider being holy a bad thing, because it claims a ‘better than’ status or attitude. But I’m learning that holiness is far from being perfect. It is recognizing our sin and our need for a Savior in every part of life. Our humility and neediness is the opposite of our cultural attitude. The death and resurrection of Jesus demonstrated His love to us and for us, if we choose to follow Him in humility. Our changing character is not about us but a demonstration of His love in us.
