Hope 7

What does it mean to have our eyes open, enlightened to what God is doing?  The parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25) aeems more than waiting for the second coming. Watching and waiting is an each day adventure, being ready for what God will show us as we seek His kingdom and His righteousness. There are so many distractions that can put us to sleep, thinking that we cannot wait for Him to show us where He is moving.

“If the Bible says something once, notice it but don’t count it as a fundamental principle. If it says it twice, think about it twice. If it is repeated many times, then dwell on it and seek to understand it. What you want to believe from the Bible is its message on the whole and use it as a standard for interpreting the peripheral passages.” - Dallas Willard, Hearing God
