There have been periods of time when I sensed an oppressive spiritual force trying to g to discourage me. I might have been overly tired and over committed, need g rest. But premonitions of evil can be the reality of staying committed to following Christ. Staying in the Scriptures and praying openly and honestly with God about how we sense things are hapless job help clear up the oppression. The Bible promises that our Triune God will NEVER leave us or forsake us. The apostle John and the prophet Daniel knew this truth and practiced His presence. They each knew the truth and lived by it.
