The vision of what Daniel experiences had to be overwhelming. Getting a glimpse of what events were to unfold were life changing but getting a glimpse of what Hod was going to allow changed his view of God’s power and calculated precision. The apostle John’s view of God changed his life and compassion. Many of his statements seem to be written as if he were a living attorney, persuading the reader. If…then…statements are convincing:
If you remain persistent in following Christ, you won’t be ashamed when He appears.
If you have hope in Christ, you will purify yourself from sin.
1 John 3 is one of my favorite passages. Our Father’s
Love for us is overwhelming. His live changes us and our whole identity is rooted in the fact of being g children of our Father. We can’t imagine what it will be like when Jesus returns.
