I wonder if John could sleep after receiving such a detailed revelation. What he experienced had change him, bringing him closer to God than ever. The details seem like a science fiction movie but the reality of what is happening in the spiritual world is real. Like Nicky said, we could debate what John experiences but the fact of Jesus taking care of everything brings hope. The books of Daniel, Zechariah, and Revelation coincide with each other. John was a student of the Old Testament which influences his understanding of what God revealed to him. Today’s news can be anxiety producing but God will bring everything to a conclusion in His timing.
