Father God, 

Help me to rest in the beauty of Your grace

instead of wrestling with the weight of my past.

I am weak, You are strong.

Empower me to focus one day at a time.

Help me today with Your Grace

And the next day. 

Don’t let my frustration win.

Don’t let me get carried away with my doing that you miss out on being. 

Don’t let me get lost working that I forget to live. 

May I Take time to rest.

 Being in silence, speaking with You, Lord.

May I enjoy Your presence, calming my presence among others.

Show me Your kingdom working. 

Loving You with my whole being

Loving others as You have loved me.

Come quickly.  Make Your second coming happen!

Open my eyes to what You are doing now.

Thank You for Your presence, Your love, Your provision.

Show me what is unimportant.

Help me do the important.

May I release what doesn’t need to be held.

Empower me to be approachable and forgiving.

May I love You as You have loved me.

May my family and those closest to me 

know that Your love is present in my ordinary moments.

Prepare me for tomorrow with Your presence.

Let yesterday stay with yesterday.

Be here with me in my here and now

Let tomorrow find You when it comes.

May Your peace and joy over ride the pain or grief that may come.

Lord, You are my refuge, my safety and security

Despite the chaos or crisis.

So, Lord, show me Your holiness.

I am unworthy and do not deserve You!

But You have promised You will NEVER leave me or abandon me.

I will not be shaken or dismayed.

Forgive me for my foggy vision of You.

Open my eyes to Your presence, 

Open  my ears to Your voice.

May You be honored with all I do and say.
