Giants to Defeat 16

Have you been held back from an accomplishment because of delays on your timeline?  How has discouragement, doubt or disappointment held you back?  I seems like the giants in our mind can be our worst enemies.  In addition the world’s systems of operation tend to grind at our motivation, fueling the “D” words outlined in John 10:10. The evil seems to capitalize on these giants but His sustaining grace of the Kingdom in our hearts can override these disabilities. The cultural divisions created by the pandemic, politics, or power have become trivial distractions when compared to the hope of eternity and the worship of our Creator.

Too many believers have an intellectual religion that satisfies the mind but never changes the life. They can discuss the Bible and even argue about it; but when it comes to living it, they fail.
Hope is not a sedative; it is a shot of adrenaline, a blood transfusion. Like an anchor, our hope in Christ stabilizes us in the storms of life (Heb. 6:18–19), but unlike an anchor, our hope moves us forward, it does not hold us back.
