I’m so grateful and thankful for the sacrifice made on the cross. How dreadful to think that there would be no hope of Heaven, or that my only hope rested on my efforts to do better the next time. How would I ever know that I’ve done enough to pay off my offenses morally? Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice of atonement, making me clean, working out my love by showing how much I’m thankful for His sacrifice. Not only that, I don’t think we fully grasp how much He loves us. If we did, how much more passion we would have to tell others of His love.
