Our culture wants quick fixes and we love to follow the herd mentality. Celebrities get a lot of attention and we often do not want the quiet unnoticed lifestyle. But as Tozer points out, those who truly admit their hunger and come to Him find rest. Finding rest is not in a big crowd with lots of noise and fireworks.
