We seem to be over stimulated with distractions from all directions. There is no end to over stimulation unless we slow down with moments of intentional silence and solace. If having everything in this life provided purpose and meaning, why are so many lonely? Why is our culture self driven, promoting power, possessions and a long list of passions? The devil and his evil systems are skilled at undermining us! But God knows us and how His opponent works. The power of God’s word enables us to withstand the pressure as we listen for the Spirit to lead us in the next steps. We have every reason to be all in for Jesus because the treasures of what will last are all wrapped in Him and His glory.
