Discernment of what God wants is so important as our culture tries to redefine truth. Todays trend is to base decisions on personal preferences without judging anyone’s values. But God’s love infused on our hearts changes everything about us. We discern or judge what God wants in our lives based on His love. His love has a high moral standard of integrity? Purity and holiness. The measure of a man is his heart, not his head. A head can be full of knowledge with no use other than a comparison to another brainiac. But the heart driven by His love produces faith and hope, which impacts the world.
If Christians around the world were to suddenly renounce their personal agendas, their life goals and their aspirations, and begin responding in radical obedience to everything God showed them. the world would be turned upside down. How do we know? Because that's what first century Christians did, and the world is still talking about it.
