God is definitely making each of us into a new person. Part of becoming new and fully redeemed is calling out what we are not, what false ideas we have of ourselves. Even though the process can be very painful as we call out the wrong, what joy, peace, and calmness we have and will have as we catch a glimpse of what we are becoming. It’s very important to focus on the rightness of what He is making to counter the temptation to only focus on the wrong. He chose us and predestined us - which we will not fully understand with our finite minds. He is remaking us to be blameless and holy, all because of the love sacrificed on the cross in our behalf. Even though you and I feel like giving up at times, as if we are falling apart, He is redeeming us, changing us, putting us together for His honor, for a bright future, a future we could never have without His love.
