I recently listened to a podcast on missions. The guy said it’s far better to invest in a race horse than a mule, teaching the idea that it’s important to invest / tithe to the organizations and strategies where God is definitely working. If we try to come up with a new idea for God to bless, it may not happen. We are to seek the kingdom where He is moving and get with His strategy. Asking God to show us where He needs our resources, time and talent is important pre planning, identifying what He wants. There is great fulfillment in getting behind what is happening exponentially rather than just hoping it all works out.
