I’m a bit confused regarding the blessing upon Hagar but her heart may have been right with God. Living in a very male dominated culture would be difficult , especially when Hagar had no legal rights. Sari was impatient with God’s promise and tries to figure out her own way to have children. One lesson we are to apply is that our Father sees all and knows the thoughts and intentions of every person. He is merciful and full of grace, even with Hagar who was victimized.
