I’ve come to realize that I do not pray bold prayers, especially to ask God to change what I cannot control. So many circumstances are beyond us, so I end up praying for strength to handle the situation, not to change anything in it. The phrase ‘it is what it is’ seems to have formed into my thinking. But Jesus said to ask, seek and knock. There is nothing wrong with asking, even if my faith is weak and timid.
