Developing the daily discipline of reading God’s Word keeps His words fresh in my mind, helping me to more alert when the devil is prowling. If I’m consuming the news or others’s negativity more than I’m letting God work in me, I’m allowing the devil to sit with me. He truly is the Shepherd we need and I pray that He becomes more important to us each day. The nine words of the devotional - don’t give the enemy a seat at your table - should be in neon lights.
