Perhaps another way of looking at ‘bless my soul’ is to say ‘I need You, Lord’ in a variety of ways. Participating in this devotional is reminding ourselves each day that He is Lord and we are not. Being grateful for all God is providing us an enabling us to do is another reminder.
Praying: Father, thank You for Stephen’s desire to follow You. Empower him to be all in for You, loving You with all his heart. Give him wisdom to be the best possible husband and dad that he can possibly be, giving You all honor and glory with his life. Amen.
