Our former pastor, Doug Shada, used to say repeatedly, ‘If you rent in a crisis, you’ve just come out of one or you are headed for one.’ ‘What are we goi g to learn from each of them?’ Living in tension between the here and now and the not yet is filled with unknowns and the uncontrollable. But His grace is sufficient to carry us through, producing training for wisdom and His purpose. May you and I always be prepared.
