Today’s devotional summarizes our culture well. Instead of taking the high road, choosing to do respond with dignity and integrity, we see many playing the victim card. Some even use conspiracies to capitalize on their victim mantra. But Jesus calls us to be a person of peace and joy, restoring the broken hearted, rescuing those who are hurt, defending the marginalized, pursuing justice, all because we are filled with His love. Such a lifestyle is not politically correct, nor popular, but it gives evidence that Jesus is who He said He was.
