We have so much to be thankful for! How can we not praise Him for what we have and how we live. We listened to two missionaries who recently shared about a man in Pakistan who has begun a house church, but was told to stop teaching about Jesus. He refused and they beat him severely and destroyed his house, making them move to another village. The man loves Jesus so much that he is determined to live in a village nearby so that he can remain connected to his house church. I often wonder how much our comfy American life blinds us from loving Him, from praising Him deeply. Learning to honor God in our everyday moments builds a rhythm of praise, enabling us to trust Him all the more.
