Fear is seems to be a marketing scheme to drive us into purchasing more and be in one side of an issue or another. Advertisement a want me to to be on specific medications, accumulate stuff for future scarcity, and not look old. The news could drive a person crazy thinking about the economy, politics, the weather, or the markets. I am guilty of fearing what people might think of me
”A phobia is an unhealthy fear. It is disproportionate to the danger posed. It is ‘**F**alse **E**vidence **A**ppearing **R**eal’. It is when I catastrophise – overestimating the danger and underestimating my ability to cope.”
But the Scriptures teach repeatedly that we are not to fear the challenges of the day but rather be in awe of our Father who sees and knows every single detail. Rather than being fixed on a phobia, we are to grow in deeper confidence that He will NEVER leave us. He has a plan. Wisdom is knowing God is with us.
