The resurrection of Jesus from the dead changes everything. The world acts as though the resurrection never took place as most leaders grab for more power or possessions while others wish they had the power to compete. These short term goals may end up helping others but if accomplished without an eternal perspective, lasting change never happens. One statement jumped out to me - “ there is nothing greater in life than to experience the sense of the presence of the resurrected Jesus.” Because of the resurrection, our purpose for living has a depth unlike all other goals. The promise that God will never leave us or forsake us, but provide the grace we need to make decisions is great assurance for everything we do.
