Marriage works. It brings stability to living each day, adding meanjng and purpose. Marriage is similar to our relationship to the Triune God, in fellowship, working as one. Each of us needs community, including friends, encouragers, and like minded faithful people who cheer us on. The example of Herod and his mistress demonstrate the sick mentality that can result in a person’s life if we do not surrender to God’s way of living. Marriage and family life build a life of stability and celebration. The Old Testament is full of celebrations scheduled on the Hebrew calendar, demonstrating how important it is to honor our Lord through our celebrations in life. As you begin your family, you will have so much to celebrate!
