Renovation 13

I’m quite sure I’ve begun most days without being determined to change sow thing about myself. Being transformed to His likeness takes great resolve as I surrender to Him. My obedience and surrender to His way of doing life cannot be half hearted, delayed until a better day. His love is so compelling g that I want to be a part of it, drawn into it, completely changed. The regrets of my procrastination should never interfere with grasping His offer today, in this moment.

“Accordingly, the greatest need you and I have—the greatest need of collective humanity—is renovation of our heart. That spiritual place within us from which outlook, choices, and actions come has been formed by a world away from God. Now it must be transformed.” - Dallas Willard, Renovation of the Heart: Putting On the Character of Christ
