We take God’s rescue plan far too lightly. Just like the story of being in the boat race, everything was taken for granted until the crisis. Desperation for a rescue suddenly became the focal point of attention. We can easily go through the day, a week, or even years without thought of desperate we are without the death of Jesus and His resurrection. I never want to take Him for granted. I want to appreciate the wisdom from history documented in the Bible which points to the most important event of the ages.
