The work of sin and evil run through the heart of each person. It’s easy to blame genetics, background, and bad experiences, without realizing our part in the process of our flaws. It is tempting to join in on the political name calling, or to feel victimized by whatever is wrong. Developing a rhythm of anticipating what God is doing and what He will teach us is a far better mindset than our natural negativity. Our identity of who we are can easily be wrapped around our struggles rather than our mission of loving God completely and loving others.
