What was it like for Thomas tk see Jesus come through a locked door? What did he think and feel when Jesus looked him in the eyes? Thomas had been in grief and perhaps anger at the death of Jesus. As the reading pointed out, we are often struck by the grief and turmoil around us, giving us opportunity to be disappointed and discouraged, or full of gladness when we experience the Soirit’s working in and around us.
