One thing I like about Nicky’s comments is that he is honest and realistic about his life. He is not afraid to share his struggles but encourages the reader or listener to trust God for everything. If we follow Christ, we are to look for ways that He is working in and through us. We have so much in common, regardless of tradition, that we cannot waste time or effort focused on secondary issues. Our faith is not about us, but all about loving our Savior with all that we are, and loving others. It takes an entire lifetime to sort out the secondary baggage we drag with us, but the goal is to be changes into the likeness of Christ.
