Developing wisdom is being faithful to our commitments, and being responsible for those under our care. We live in a fast paced always changing culture that often discards what seems inconvenient. But fleeting temptations do not fit into a life of wisdom. The people who change lifestyle and change commitments in adulthood do not seem to work out well. I like re-read Psalm 1 as it talks about the person who flourishes is like a tree with deep roots, planted by the river. What a great analogy. Reading the Bible together is a deep encouragement to be faithful to God and to our primisss because Gos is so faithful to us.
