Bible 80

We will never understand why bad things happen to good people. It is fruitless to research my why questions because the reasons for evil are beyond my understanding. I want to believe that God is good all the time, despite the trauma and chaos in our world. Even if we do good things, treating others with fairness and go beyond normal to help others, we can be criticized. David made his mistakes but he had a heart for doing good. But he had his critics and enemies. Our motivation for doing good to others is far different than our cultural standards. Most want to elevate their resume status by counting the number of hours committed to a project. But, like Mither Teresa, following Christ means we sing even realize the good we are doing because it’s a lifestyle of living others. The rewards of doing right May not be financial or physical, but inner satisfaction and joy.
