The world is a noisy place with so many voices screaming about power, possessions, pleasure, and prestige. The evil one is whispering in our ears that we do not measure up to these standards or that we are above average on a few of these measurements. But all the while, God’s kingdom is all about different standards and measurements, countering the cultural drift. May God open our eyes and ears to His reality, that we may search for His righteousness as the standard for our lives.
