This prayer is full of emotion, intense with love for His followers. Jesus prayed even though He is of the triune God. Jesus is relationship oriented, inviting us to converse with the Triune God. When you and I are weak and out of energy, or in the middle of chaos, what other option do we have but to pray. I’m hoping we develop a strong daily rhythm of conversing with God in our ordinary moments, that we will immediately turn to Him in the rough moments.
