Praying that something happens doesn’t mean we wait and do nothing. Our decision making must be in line with God’s provision, yet He allows us to have creativity. We can pray that the hole gets dug but if we have a shovel in the garage, something isn’t quite syncing with our efforts. On the other hand, we can believe all the right stuff but if we are grabbing all we can out of fear, I’m missing the peace and hope He provides. Instead of a grab and go attitude, I must live in grateful receiving. Gratitude is key to living right.
