One of the greatest benefits of reading and reflecting on the Bible is that there is hope. Regardless of the tragedy, chaos or trauma, God is still present. He empathizes with us when we have been victimized by circumstances beyond control or during criticism. He offers hope when we have goofed up and wandered in our doubts. We have an amazing gentle but holy and compassionate God. He redeems and restores us, even when we are our own worst enemies or when we stand alone condemned by everyone else. He uses the most unlikely to accomplished great things. We have hope.
