Bible 142

Samuel was full of doubt that any leader would be good for the Hebrews other than God. The Jews hopes that Jesus would be the leader to set them free from Roman rule. But the teachings of Jesus are about a kingdom that rules our hearts, minds and actions in an upside down way, far different than the power grid of any human government. Following Christ is following His way in the here and now knowing that one day all will be made right and justice will be fair.
