It seems like everyone tries to compare themselves to everyone else, trying to measure up to our expectations or their standards. But God knows us better than we know ourselves and He designed each of us with uniques abilities in the context He chose for us. His plan for us is to know Him above trying to compare ourselves to others. I like the quote by Tim Keller:
“The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.”
