It’s good to know that I have the gray color that is approved! The Scriptures certainly do not coincide with the watered down version of today’s morals and standards for living. God’s design for living life seems to be violated increasingly. Raising kids in world filled with competition g values is difficult but possible. Finding like minded parents who stick together on moral issues has been important as we raised our boys. I can see the same goal as our grandchildren are being trained as well. The early church provided a setting for families that was in contrast to the Romans.
The Bible does not shy away from how morally bankrupt a person can get, even in David’s family. David could have, or should have….we can arm chair coach from afar. But there are plenty of issues today that require wisdom and insight from the scriptures.
